Rock and Shock adds one of the most acclaimed authors in modern horror today, and as always, From Dusk till Con has the first scoop!

Continuing to add top tier names to their guest line-up, Rock and Shock has informed From Dusk till Con that horror author, Jack Ketchum, will be making an appearance at Rock and Shock 2010.

Jack Ketchum has been praised by such literary icons as Stephen King and over the years has received numerous awards for such works as The Box, Closing Time, and Peaceable Kingdom. Several of his works have also been translated into feature film adaptations, including The Lost (directed by Chris Sivertson), Red (directed by Lucky McKee and Trygve Allister Diesen), and The Girl Next Door, which was inspired by the 1965 murder of Sylvia Likens.

Rock and Shock happens October 15th-17th at the DCU Center and The Palladium in Worcester, MA. Many, many more guests announcements are to come as well as band and film announcements so stay tuned!

  • Review: Black Christmas
FDTC site founder, Mr. Chainsaw, makes a case for why this criminally unheralded and often ignored gem is deserving to be labeled as the king of the slasher genre.
  • Review: Gremlins
Joe Dante’s Gremlins proudly takes those Christmas traditions so many hold dear and shove them right where the sun don’t shine.
  • Review: Santa's Slay
SANTA'S SLAY is frequently corny, sometimes bloody, and often outrageously over the top, but the film is always hilarious and never boring.
  • Review: Christmas Evil
Christmas Evil is a delightful little Xmas tale about a maniac turned Santa Claus who goes forth to avenge the wrongs done to him.
