Spooky Empire adds one of rock and roll's all time guitar icons to its Ultimate Horror Weekend and only From Dusk till Con is bringing you the scoop!

It is with great honor that From Dusk till Con makes the latest announcement for Spooky Empire's Ultimate Horror Weekend, a leak that promoter Petey Mongelli has granted to the Dusker Nation as a show of his support and admiration to the site.

Guitarist and musical icon, Ace Frehley, of the legendary rock and roll band, KISS, will be appearing at Spooky Empire's October show as a very special guest. "Space Ace," as his stage persona came to be known, is one of the four original members of the band which has sold 100 million records world wide, acting as lead guitarist and vocalist group from its inception in 1973 until his departure in 1982. Other members of the original line up include Gene Simmons (bass and vocals), Peter Criss (drums and vocals), and Paul Stanley (vocals, rythmn guitar).

Aside from his years in KISS, Ace Frehley has also gone on to have a successful solo career releasing two studio albums and one live album under the band, Frehley's Comet, as well as several solo records. Ace Frehely reunited with the original members of KISS in 1996 for a highly successful reunion tour.

In 2005, Ace Frehley appeared in the crime drama, Remedy, alongside Vincent Pastore and Rick Aiello. Ace has also appeared as a member of KISS in the films Detroit Rock City and the made for TV movie, KISS Meets the Phantom of the Park. He has lent his musical to such films as Idle Hands and such television shows as Entourage and Californication.

Spooky Empire's Ultimate Horror Weekend goes down October 8th-10th at the Wyndham Orlando in Orlando, FL. For more info visit their official site at http://www.SpookyEmpire.com.

  • Review: Black Christmas
FDTC site founder, Mr. Chainsaw, makes a case for why this criminally unheralded and often ignored gem is deserving to be labeled as the king of the slasher genre.
  • Review: Gremlins
Joe Dante’s Gremlins proudly takes those Christmas traditions so many hold dear and shove them right where the sun don’t shine.
  • Review: Santa's Slay
SANTA'S SLAY is frequently corny, sometimes bloody, and often outrageously over the top, but the film is always hilarious and never boring.
  • Review: Christmas Evil
Christmas Evil is a delightful little Xmas tale about a maniac turned Santa Claus who goes forth to avenge the wrongs done to him.
