HorrorHound Weekend shocks the convention world with a move that has their long runnning March Indianapolis show moving to the fall in 2012, and into the thick of the haunt season.

HorrorHound Weekend's March 23-25th, 2012 event will now be taking place in Ohio (specifics to be revealed at a later date, including an amazing "EVENT" which we are sure fans will discuss feverishly once details are revealed (sorry folks – this one is so big, we are waiting until this year's Fall Convention Season is wrapping up before divulging specifics)). What is sure to be our biggest show to date – we CAN NOT wait to reveal our plans for this March 23-25th event! (Look for some announcements this July!) On top of all these top-secret news bits, we can say that our annual Horror Host event will be taking place at this show, and will feature a tribute to the Shock Theater package from Universal Studios. We have some amazing things in store for this tribute event, including screening presentations and panels.

What BIG news we can reveal tonight, however, is our plans for Indianapolis, Indiana – the city that birthed HorrorHound Weekend's dominance in the mid-west convention scene! HorrorHound Weekend Indianapolis will now be taking place over the weekend of September 7-9th, 2012! And yes – this event will take place at our regular venue of the Marriott Indianapolis East! We will be taking over the hotel once more, this time with more rooms blocked to assure as many HorrorHound Weekend attendees will be able to stay at the event hotel! This will be a massive kick-off party to the Halloween Haunting season and we will be sure to deliver the gory goods for all attendees!

Now, thanks to our new September date in Indianapolis, we will be unveiling new plans for TheHMA.net's Mask-Fest, with a goal to present one of the most Monster-filled showrooms the mid-west has ever seen! Special haunted attraction presentations for the Indianapolis area will be featured, as well as a special prop and prop replica museum, art show and other attractions to help turn Mask-Fest into a Monster of a show within itself! All this, plus free mask and monster making workshops – all weekend long – and a host of mask, effects and art-specific guests will be in attendance making this the most Monsterous Mask-Fest event to date!

HorrorHound has already been in talks with managers and industry insiders to help bring some of the biggest genre names to the area during this mega-show, including some of the most requested. More vendors – more celebrities – more events – and a concert that will be sure to deliver! As if the first ten HorrorHound Weekend events were any suggestion – 2012 will be one for the record books!
