To whom it may concern,

This is a general invitation for anyone with an event, convention, film festival, indie project, etc., to submit all current and future press releases for your conventions to be featured on the From Dusk Till Con site. FDTC is the leading website for horror convention news, reviews, and general information, with over 30,000 unique visitors a month and growing.

In the past, I have personally scoured the internet to find the latest updates on conventions all around the country, but due to the continued growth of the FDTC site, we are no longer able to guarantee the time to personally seeking out all the news from every possible show as we are beginning to expand site content into other areas including indie film news and reviews, horror comic book features, and horror toys. The best way to insure that your event news stays featured on FDTC and promoted to thousands of horror fans daily is to add this email to your mailing lists and send us your latest press releases as updates to your shows happen.

To put it in layman's terms, anyone who sends in a press release for an event that fits the type of content that would be of interest to From Dusk Till Con's audience will have their press release guaranteed to be posted within 24 hours, often times within a fraction of that time. Including pictures with your press release is even better!

On the other hand, if you do NOT send your press releases in to From Dusk Till Con, we can not guarantee that your event's information will be posted in a timely fashion (and sometimes maybe not at all). With the landscape of the convention scene being so insanely active, it is increasingly difficult for the two of us in charge of writing and posting news to keep up with absolutely everything going on in the scene, let alone write press releases for other people's endeavors. While we personally don't mind writing other people's press releases for them, it is rather time consuming and finding the time to squeeze it in among a ton of other responsibilities often makes it inevitable that news will not be reported in a timely fashion.

Thanks for the consideration and we hope that many of you will be encouraged to send us news briefs on your events in the future as we thoroughly enjoy publishing them.

Brutal and Bloody Regards,
Mr. Chainsaw and TargetJon (FDTC News Staff)

Hey Mr. C - do you want us to post right on the board or do you have a preferred email address for press releases?

Thanks for being a central repository of convention information!

You can do both. You can post in the Upcoming Events forum but you can also send me a press release to fromdusktillcon@gmail.com and I will post it on the main site and promote it on Facebook as well.

Thanks!

Keep in mind that the biggest offenders for upscaling degradation on a normal monitor are things like small, aliased text, or thin, aliased lines. She hid Frederick in a basket of green corn husks in a corn field and fled for her life. Once the Sioux attack had been repulsed, she returned to find their house burned down, but the baby Frederick was safe, fast asleep in the basket with the corn husks.[13][5]</p>.
