Review: Trinity of Decay

Austrian filmmaker James Quinn is back with a follow up to Law of Sodom, in the twisted video for the band Anderwelt.

Shot much like Law of Sodom, Trinity Of Decay is black and white with brilliant flashes of color. The music from Anderwelt compliments James’ vision. The use of location also helps keep a good pace of the film.
Clocking in at around 14 minutes, much like Law of Sodom, this is James’ dealing with his demons, but it works for his films by giving them a gritty, personal feel. This is the perfect example of music and film tieing together to tell a story. It's somewhat remniscent of early videos from Tool, but without the stop motion animation. I cannot recommend this enough, especially if you’re a fan of Begotten.

The video premieres January 18th and you can find more information at Sodom & Chimera Productions, or on the event page! Be sure to check out the teaser here.
