In the two and a half years since the site's initial inception, FROM DUSK TILL CON has quickly grown into the internet's largest community and news source for genre convention fans, reaching tens of thousands of people on a monthly basis. Now, in a step to take its reach even further, FDTC is proud to announce the first of several steps in its evolution from being a homegrown community site to an all encompassing multi-media center for all things "Cons, Creeps, and Culture."

On Thursday, May 10th, FROM DUSK TILL CON will proudly launch FROM DUSK TILL CON Radio, an hour long live weekly radio program broadcast via IndieNation.FM. To act as hosts, FDTC has decided to commission the services of frequent collaborators and EAST COAST HORROR founders, Mike Exler and Drew Seidler.

"We've actually been talking about doing a podcast or radio program of sorts since shortly after FDTC was started, but just never felt we had the right host for it or the right people we could put behind it. Rather than do something we weren't going to be 110% happy with, we've decided to keep the idea on the shelf until the right opportunity presented itself," says Adolfo G. Dorta, who along with artist Rick Lara co-founded FROM DUSK TILL CON. "Ever since the first interview I did with Mike and Drew of EAST COAST HORROR, their preparation and attention to detail has drawn me to want to work with them over and over again. These are two guys who are doing great things on their own terms and who we feel are driven by the same love for the convention scene as we are."

Says Mike Exler of East Coast Horror: "East Coast Horror Group is proud to be joining forces with From Dusk Till Con to bring the most honest and up to date horror radio show on the net today. ECHG has always said we do this for the right reasons with the right people, and we have found just the right people with Adolfo, Rick and FDTC."

In describing the structure and formula for FDTC Radio, Adolfo explains, "We want to lead it in a more conversational direction, much like the climate that exists in our site forums and in our Facebook group. Rather than simply produce news and film reviews, we want to open up the show in a way to be driven by open, unedited discussion and we hope to bring in various personalities from across the horror convention scene - from celebrity guests, to promoters, to folks in the media - and get their take on current topics of interest. We are also planning on having a few "call-in" shows a month, where fans will be able to call into the show and guide the direction of the show by sharing their thoughts and opinions on up to date subjects in our culture."

FROM DUSK TILL CON Radio launches Thursday, May 10th, at 10pm Eastern/9pm Central standard time, with a 90 minute debut show.. Listeners will be able to tune in both via the FROM DUSK TILL CON and EAST COAST HORROR sites.
