Monster Mania 16 Announces NOES 3 and Return of the Living Dead Reunions

Following closely on the heels of Monster Mania 15, happening August 20-22nd in Cherry Hill, NJ, comes the announcement of another Monster Mania show, this one happening September 17-19th in Hunt Valley Maryland. And in following with the theme of Nightmare on Elm Street sequel reunions (a NOES 5 reunion is set for Monster Mania 15), Monster Mania 16 will be delivering a Nightmare renuion of their own.

Recently announced via the Monster Mania convention message board is confirmation that Monster Mania 16 will be ground zero for a reunion of Nightmare on Elm Street 3: The Dream Warriors, which will feature none other than Mr. Freddy Krueger himself, Robert Englund! Alongside Robert Englund will be his female protagonist, Ms. Nancy Thompson herself, Heather Langenkamp, as well as Ken Sagoes, Rodney Eastman, Jennifer Rubin, Ira Heiden, and legendary actor, John Saxon.

But wait! There’s more!

As if if a Nightmare on Elm Street 3 reunion wasn’t enough to get you excited, Monster Mania 16 has also announced that they will be doing a MASSIVE Return of the Living Dead reunion featuring 8 of the films stars: Thom Matthews, Beverly Randolph, John Philbin, Miguel Nunez, Brian Peck, Jewel Shephard, Don Calfa, and Allan Trautman! Return of the Living Dead celebrates its 25 year anniversary this fall, and is the much beloved cult-classic of the late, great Dan O’Bannon who passed away last December.

If that wasn’t enough to get you excited, how about a double dose of Jason Voorhees for your pleasure? Tom Morga (who portrayed the infamous slasher in Friday the 13: A New Beginning, as well as another masked icon, Michael Meyers, in Halloween 4) and Ted White (who donned the hockey mask for Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter) will both be on hand to round out the first crop of announcements for a massively impressive start to Monster Mania’s guest lineup.
