Horror Realm Boasts Strong Guest and Event List

With a ton of unique guests and events, Horror Realm make a strong case for itself in the New England convention circuit.

In case you have been living under a rock for the past few months, Horror Realm has been building quite an impressive show leading up to the weekend of Sept 17th - 19th. While the Pittsburgh, PA show may be somewhat on the smaller side in comparison to some of the bigger shows in the region, but as far as quality guests and events go, the by the fans/for the fans show more than holds its own.

Here are some highlights of the convention:

  • Basket Case Reunion featuring a rare appearance by Frank Henenlotter along with Kevin Van Hentenryck, Terri Susan Smith and Beverly Bonner
  • Autopsy of the Dead screening and appearances by NOTLD cast and crew members – Kyra Schon, Bill “Chilly Billy” Cardille, Gary Streiner, Joe Unitas, Herbert Summer, Gary Catizone, Dave James and Charles Craig
  • Pittsburgh Film Workers Awards program
  • Horror author panels sponsored by Library of the Living Dead, including Bram Stoker award winners Jonathan Maberry and Kim Paffenroth
  • Night of the Living Dead Costume Ball sponsored by Magic Hat Brewing
